The Filomena snow storm in central Spain has been, without a doubt, exceptional. Their return period in many places has exceeded half a century and more, particularly in Madrid. Despite the accuracy of the weather predictions, 'Filomena' put roads, public transport, health centers and other basic services in Madrid in check. What went wrong in the management of this climate phenomenon? In the documentary “Filomena” we invite you to reflect on an indisputable reality: Filomena is climate change. Global warming is a reality, given the high amount of existing evidence, such as thermal records from conventional weather stations and remote sensing, as well as various natural indicators. They all draw a planet and regions warmer than 40 years ago. Are we acting in line with the climate emergency situation, declared by organizations and institutions? ​
