More than a million girls and boys have sought refuge in Europe, many of them completely alone. An entire generation that has fled war and who now, instead of being children, have to face bureaucracy, mistrust, waiting, frustration, misunderstanding and fear. This documentary looks directly into their eyes and listens to their opinions, their feelings, their desires, their songs... Our life as refugee children in Europe" is a brave testimony told in the first person by children and young people of different nationalities who live in a situation of permanent waiting in Greece and Sweden. They are stories of a generation that has been forced to abandon their homes and their childhood to find a safe place to live and be able to rebuild their lives in peace. This is the story of those who are there but also of those who never arrived.
