Stereocordis

The most precious memory of Mercedes (65) is an old and half-improvised recording, like from walking around the house, the audio guide of an almost forgotten museum room, with a solitary painting that no one notices anymore. However, Mercedes goes every day of her life to listen to the same brief and worn-out speech, to hear the voice of her late husband again. One day, Mercedes realizes that the old audio guide has been replaced by a robotic and impersonal voiceover. She leaves there immediately, but she doesn't know what to do so that her husband's voice can be heard again in the museum. His daughter Julia (35) believes that it is better this way, an opportunity to turn the page once and for all. When Mercedes receives the news that she will not be able to recover the recordings, she must find a way to remember her husband that will allow her to continue with her life. Stereocordis is a story that talks about grief, learning to live with absence and the importance of building a network of support to honor the memory of those who are no longer here.
