Una comedia muy moderna

In a small room without windows, Sara, a film director, and Dani, a screenwriter, have a meeting with their producers: Enrique and Yolanda. Sara wants to talk about competitiveness in our days, where someone gives everything to win at something, whatever it may be. And to do this he tells a story inspired by the sequence of “Amanece que no es poco” In a town in Extremadura in 1795, a women's association, called “UAMXVIIIQEALPPDPTLD” (the only women's association of the 18th century that elects the town whore every day), celebrates the most important moment of each day: the election of the town whore! However, he soon realizes that it is not going to be so easy to tell his story. Enrique and Yolanda begin to expose possible problems regarding the offense to different groups and current society. Enrique is pragmatic and wants simple, non-problematic things and Yolanda is paranoid and thinks that everyone will be offended by the humor of the project. The script progressively transforms, becoming more and more absurd in the face of Sara's helplessness, who on the other hand also wants to carry out the project at any cost, even if she must adapt it to the taste of the producers. For their part, Enrique and Yolanda's attitude is to do something good, correct and positive for society... but also looking at financing problems, obtaining public aid, sales options to streaming platforms that buy content or possible film awards. They finally manage to find a way to tell the story without offending anyone, don't they?
